While Playing Medabots Infinity on Dolphin whenever i shoot a Balloon Bomb dolphin crashes, i have tried many combinations and permutations of various settings and configurations but the problem persists ONLY when shooting a Balloon Bomb. After much research i read that others have this problem as well. What can i do to Fix it? I desperately Want to play through the game but dont have a GameCube, i have tried Reloading the ISO and through extensive research and testing the Problem isnt my ISO, it is something with Dolphin and this specific game.

I have the Latest Version of Dolphin from their site and have also tried OpenGl, which crashes the game before i can even get to the balloon, only direct3D11 runs without lag all other options result in 25% speed and crashes almost instantly.

Copied from the crash messagge

Try this: Dolphin 3.0 + OpenGL + LLE

OpenGl + (After Much Effort to dump from wii) LLE did not fix completely, but it did eleminate the horrible electronic tone that played during crash, the game froze then a got crash message again. Definitively an improvement though it crashed less if that makes any sense.

It is worth noting that my processor is nearly identical to the one report to produce this issue. Think its a problem with my processor and im kinda screwed?
Quote:Tested on various graphics and sound settings and runs flawlessly except for the sound issue of crashing when a balloon bomb detonates (even with MMU or MMU speed hack)

On another note, how do i do the GBA link with Dolphin (if possible) i have both GBA games on VisualBoy Advance.

Read this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-gba-gcn-connection-guide?highlight=vba-m .
But I guess it doesn't work with this game

I Downloaded Dolphin 3.0-159 and dumped Gamecube bios and enabled LLE and it now works perfectly without any issues. Thank You LordVador. Although OpenGL was not necessary once i changed from 3.5 to 3.0 i am now able to run Direct9

If I remember correctly this game had graphic glitches with DX and OpenGL solved them. This was still true with Dolphin 3.0 but it might have been more or less fixed later on. I don't know I haven't played this game for a long.

But anyway if it works for you then it's fine. Enjoy Big Grin
