i nearly completed the game (first 3 cups done) and never got anything suspicious.
safe texture does nothing but decreasing fps for me.

What's the problem with the shadows ? they look fine there, also i heard there's some textures glitch and even models disappearing in this game (??) but i never had any of these issues :p

The game basically looks perfect now Smile

yes the shadows work with efb on but that cuts framerate ~in half.

i got nearly everywhere 40fps without efb and around 20 with efb.

but efb is only needed for shadows in double dash so you COULD turn it off . major speed boost.

but it creates some glitches, so if you want both : flawless graphic AND nice speed, you either
- need to reduce efb size (1/16 works quiet good)
- or turn off efb just before race starts
- or make efb only update every maybe 5th frame

but maybe somebody got a 5-6ghz cpu and can play with efb on, dont know Tongue

what is good for you ?

im running it with E6600@3ghz

so you can only have like ~13% more fps -> with efb below 30fps, but game needs 50....

without efb it runs wonderful.

Yeah, I retested it on Windows, and it works flawlessly with safe texture cache disabled, so it's either a bug in the Linux version of Dolphin or a driver bug in fglrx.

How Can I play Double dash with two players mode ? When I set buttons for player two, the second player can't move or select chars(buttons not working). I have enabled second controler.

I find it harder to powerslide and do miniturbos in the newer revs.

You need R button for this, right? Maybe it's your controller...

Sorry I didn't give a lot of details. The problem is there with both the Dolphin kb/X360(keyboard) plugin and njoy 0.3(gamepad) plugin on the latest Dolphin build available on Dolphin emu. I tried using the same controller and keyboard in MKDD!! on SVN R 2731 and it works fine.
