Oh, whoops - I've actually read many pages of that thread...but I must've missed it in there.

I was able to find the surrounding memory area in the EU version of the game, and port the code. For anyone who might want it:

$50 fps, 2x speed (EU) (Rev 1??)

That's all I've managed so far. But don't give up hope - if Pikmin can have proper codes, then surely this game can, too.

The game seems to run at the same speed whether at 50 or 60 Hz, so hopefully there's something there.

It's a big shame that this game doesn't just support variable framerates...unlike its sequel.

I'll keep up the hope, then!  That's an interesting find about the EU version.

You can technically play it now at 60fps and at the right speed if you are willing to live with screen tear, but for me that is a dealbreaker.
