To be specific, the visuals for the intro videos don't show. The screen will probably appear black for you. This is to specify /how/ the "intro videos don't work" from the usual problem that most every game has with videos not working properly due to de-syncing or stuttering.
I'm new to Dolphin and not sure if my problem is with this particular game or the emulator itself. The game starts fine though no videos as mentioned here. I am able to play for about five minutes before I get an error message and am forced to close the game. I wish I could offer more information.

For me Hunter:The Reckoning simply loads as far as the checking memory card screen, it still reports a stable 59-60fps but does not move past this point, unsure if it's my settings or just my machine not wanting to play nice with this particular game but yeah.
Figure the perfect compatibility rating is a little bit wrong either way. 08-15-2016, 09:34 AM
When toggling Aero glass on or off with a batch file it goes to the next screen for me where it asks about making a settings file then does nothing from there.
Anyone got a clue what the cause could be? 05-03-2019, 03:37 PM

I get strange slowdowns in this game where my performance drops to 80% despite the fact that I can run more demanding titles like The Last Story at full speed. The slowdown appears to occur anytime the camera pans low to give a farther view of the background. This happens in the very first level just before you save the train engineer. I've tried other backends and have the same issue, regardless of IR. I'm on the latest dev build as well.
Edit: Upon bisecting, I found a strange regression that makes no sense to me at all. It appears the first instance of this slowdown occuring is in this dev build. https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/735a705e4dd9f535dc529e0a7eb0d96ba5982be9/ I have no idea why, but something else must have been changed. |
