[GC] Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
|
works almost perfectly with 3.5-1267 (including audio with HLE), except for the massive fps drop after 7pm, when the streetlights go on.
This doesn't occur when using the latest revision from the hashless-branch and setting EFB copies to RAM (or disabling them). Unfortunately, HLE audio is broken on that revision and my cpu is just a little bit to weak to play it with LLE.. Edit: aside from the HLE issue, the game seems to work perfectly fine on the hashless version

I have been fooling around with this all day, I have the settings just perfect though! Took awhile but it's fixed. I am using the Hashless revision found here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/branches/ No more sound issues and after 7 pm no more lag! Here are some screen shots of my settings. As you can see my game speed stays at 99%-100% of what the actual game is suppose to be and stays at 29-30 fps. This is the only addition that I added besides changing settings: http://www.mediafire.com/?nneuvjlti4z These files need to be input as such: Sys>GC> (Paste both files from that download here) So this file should look something like: dsp_coef.bin dsp_rom.bin, font_ansi.bin,font_sjis.bin. These are the only files that should be in the folder. I downloaded the emu to a file on my desktop, there I extracted all files inside. the list of files should be :Languages, Sys, User, cg.dll, cgGL.dll, Dolphin, DSPTool, ecveptioninfo, license, SDL.dll. So, just stick the downloaded files in the proper file as mentioned before. Along with this are screen shots of my current set up of anything that I changed during my endeavor. Once again this is my setup and the game is working perfect for me. No music issues except for the intro; no lag after 7 pm, nothing, no problems what so ever. Good luck to all, and I hope that this helps you out! If I had the software I would upload a vid to my youtube channel but I don’t L 05-19-2013, 02:57 AM
Those dsp_rom.bin and dsp_coef.bin files had better come from the Dolphin's reverse engineered versions, as you're not allowed to redistribute the actual files from a real DSP (due to copyright).

Where can I download the Hashless version that I need to make the game playable at nighttime, Ive read that the Hashless 696 worked, but I don't know where to get it from. I'm a new to Dolphin, and I think i'm having trouble navigating through all the downloads. Also, How does the Hashless version Work, is it a separate program or does it update to my current version of Dolphin, Thanks in Advance.

This is the only one I can find. It's a separate version of Dolphin.

I'm fairly new to emulator use, and I am unashamed to admit my knowledge of computers is extremely limited. However, my gameplay of HM:AWL has been interrupted while trying to receive the plant Tartan from Takakura. The cut scene began and ran smoothly up until the 5th or 6th line of dialog when all talking ceased and the only thing happening is the methodical nodding and bobbing that the characters usually do accompanied by the music. I have paused and unpaused, saved and reloaded, and even tried fast-forwarding through frames, but the game will not pick back up. This is the first time I have had a problem with a cut scene, and I am very irritated (mostly with myself- I stupidly hadn't been saving my progress for about 6 game days -_-). Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone else know how to fix it by chance?
