There is an issue with the startup movies in this game (like the intro developer/middleware movies). Ever since 5.0-4703 only a single frame of each movie is displayed frozen on the screen while the sound plays normally. Here's a video of the issue (sorry it's terrible, I'd never used vegas before I tried this). 5.0-4700 is the last version without the issue.
Should I make a bug report? 06-12-2019, 03:50 AM

I'm getting a freeze of some sort after ending a battle in versus mode. Some windows pop up, and after clicking OK on them the game does seem to resume afterward. I get this same behavior with F-Zero GX, but only when you first boot that game. Not sure if it's somehow related. Using Vulkan video backend.

I'm getting the same problem as OrangeCrusader25 (post above me). Also running Vulkan and got the same error after turning off dual-core as suggested. Is there a specific setting that might remedy this issue?

Does it happen with every backend? AFAIK this game has always frozen randomly after some battles (like 50/50 chance in my experience), but I've never seen any sort of popup like that personally. Does it happen every time or does it work some of the time?
EDIT: The wiki also says "Unknown opcode/Illegal Command errors occur with this title" so we might just be out of luck on this one. |
