I have been getting some strange menu errors during battle in FEoR. When I scroll through menus during battle every other option on the menu is skipped over. In order to reach these skipped options I have to hold down the down button for a long time, then it will move only one option down. Once I have moved down an option I have the same skipping problem, but now I'm skipping the opposite ones than before. This is not a big deal. The real problem is that at the start of Chapter 11, when I go to the troop selection screen I get the skipping error, and the A button doesn't work for selecting and deselecting characters. If I mess with it enough I can usually get the A button to work once or twice just by hitting it repeatedly, but I can't get more than 1 or 2 characters enabled/disabled before this stops working entirely.
I am running DolphinIL r3233 with the old Direct3D plugin from r2441 and all newest plugins other than that. I know this isn't the recommended way to run games, buts its worked fine so far in this game except for the menus. It seems like this is a pad plugin problem, but I can't find anything wrong with it. I am using the PadSimple plugin for pad and I am using my keyboard. I have only the first controller controller's settings configured with no options checked and no over lapping button assignments.
For my general settings I have Dual Core, Idle Skipping, and all advanced settings enabled. Under Interface Options I only have the Use Panic Handlers enabled. The gamecube settings are the default.
All my drivers (including keyboard) are up to date. I am running this in Windows Vista. I have an Intel Duo Core E7200 processor with 2.55 GHz. I have an Intel G3100 GMA graphics card that can't run OpenGL, but I get around this with the old Direct3D plugin.
Sorry for this essay, hope someone knows how to fix this.
