It seems this game now requires OpenGL to render the character faces properly. D3D has squares on their faces no matter what setting you use.

I'm guessing the anisotropic filtering fix broke it.

Hey, whenever I play PoR on dolphin the game (and Dolphin) keep crashing.
I really want to fix this.
It wouldn't be as annoying if I could actually resume chapters I was playing in, but I can't get past the 3rd chapter because it keeps crashing.
Could anybody tell me why it crashes?

Where exactly does it crash?

I had problems with this game at first but fixed them fairly easily. I started with a 4.0.2 build but it was x86 (32 bit) rather than x64 (64 bit). I crashed once or twice and had awful audio and video lag pretty constantly, running at around 40 fps whenever animations had to be run even though my system had no reason to struggle.

After switching to the 64 bit version all of these problems disappeared. I think its worth mentioning somewhere that the 32 bit (x86) versions of Dolphin are really not very good at emulating the game. Seriously, after switching it went from unplayable to perfect.

The stable versions of Dolphin aren't really supported anymore since they're close to 2 years old. The x86 version is also from that time, as you've probably seen there are only x64 Developers builds left. They are in the process of creating a new stable version (5.0) which will be released when all regressions have been fixed (where possible)

Until that gets released I'd still think it prudent to have a note that only 64 bit Dolphin can run the game effectively. I downloaded one of the 'experimental' builds and couldn't get it to work at all and the FAQs and such recommend starting off with a stable build so its a very real source of error until that new build is compiled.

I managed to fix the random crashes, but I don't know how exactly.
But now whenever Ike performs Aether it crashes.

I have had some trouble getting my audio in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance to work. Its audio is choppy, and I would like to fix that.

My laptop is an HP Envy Dv6 with an i7 processor instead of an i5. It has 8.00 GB of RAM, an Intel Graphics HD 4000 and a 64-bit operating system.

I have used both 3.5 and 4.0.2 to try and fix the problem, but I have a feeling it's probably my hardware. Any solutions?
