hy every one.

First of all sorry for my english but i'm french Smile

I'd like to play at Fire emblem Path of Radiance on my lapdock:

i downloaded dolphin 4.0, the iso of FE, and pressed play:

the beginning kinematic seems to play well, with no lag, bug or sound issue, but during the real game (ie the battle) the game goes very slow, as the sound, especially during the fighting scene. But also during the intermediate scene, when the characters have a conversation.

My config:

windows 7 x64bits 2.67GHz
intel Core i5 480M
Nvidia Geforce GT 520M
4GB DDR3 Memory RAM

I've been trying with the defaut dolphin config expect:

framelimit: auto
DSP HLE emulation
Direct3d11 (but it's seems to be the same with Direct3D9 and Open GL)
internal resolution: 1x native

i think i've got a good computer, maybe it's my Dolphin config ?

Thx to all of you Smile

After the kinematic, the game is lagging, so as the sound, especially during the battles.

What should i do ?

your profile says you have an "intel core inside i5"? please be more specific as to what model it is. also, your profile says you're using 4.0x64? try using the latest dev version as it is like 3x faster than 4.0 stable
Arch
Intel Core i7 - 4510U

Started playing PoR on dolphin for the first time last night, had no problems. Played the first 6 stages.

This morning, stage 7, no issues. Stage 8, on turn 2 it crashed. Specifically my whole screen went black, then I got the error message "Display driver AMD has stopped responding and has recovered". Dolphin locks up when this happens

At first I thought it overheated, but when I retried and replicated the crash (this time on turn 1), Speedfan said the GPU only got to 58 celcius (and I know for a fact these things can go to 100 easily and still be safe).

I thought maybe it's a driver issue, but my driver is up to date. Thought maybe something broke inside, but I tried every other game I have that's taxing on the machine and they all worked fine. It literally only crashes if I try to play stage 8 of PoR. I have it running on only 2x native with 2x antialiasing. I have it set to OpenGL, should I switch to Direct3D? Either way I can't figure out what's causing the crash. I COULD just use AR to skip stage 8, but that's the stage where you recruit Ilyana and I don't want to miss her.

I haven't tried with the latest but using an older build a 1000 revs back i passed that part just fine. Try disabling antialiasing and try an older build, if nothing of the above helps you might have a bad dump of the game image.

I had the same problem with PPSSPP and mi old laptop with an AMD GPU. In my case, it was caused by the AMD driver and only happened with some games at fullscreen.

I don't remember how exactly I solved it. I think I updated the drivers and the emu and everything started to run better.

In the latest revisions of Dolphin, the character faces are still messed up even with texture filtering and Anisotropic off. I have it set to 2x native, so I don't see how there are still lines on the character faces. Can someone take a look at this issue?
