Have any of the 3.0-8xx revisions fixed the fog transparency issues in this game or is 3.0-645 still the best option for accuracy?
CPU: Intel i7-4790K

You made this post a few weeks ago, wounder if you found one? The latest revisions run the game so much smooth for me besides the fog glitch. I can disable the fog in the setting but it makes the game look bland (plus later in the game I think it uses the effect for fog of war right?). 3.0-645 does the fog right but I get a lot of random slowdown and audio glitches even on LLE with Xsound.

Forgive me for this stupid question
But I was just wondering if this game is confirmed to run on the latest version of Dolphin(3.5-269 64 bit)
The game runs smoothly for me however at random times it will freeze and leave me with a loud beeping noise.
Note that the emulator itself doesn't freeze but simply the game.
Is there a way to fix this or should I simply try a different copy of the game?

It seems you use HLE audio, and it is a common issue with HLE on lot of games, try DSP LLE audio

His computer is too weak to handle LLE, he could try to check his temps though.

Ok so my game has been running smoothly up until chapter 14. I can go through the base actions, I try to enter the actual battle, but it always ends up freezing. The dialog runs smoothly up until it shows the map for the first time, then it freezes completely. Dolphin as a whole goes inactive, and I have to force quit to exit the program as simply closing or quitting is met with the spinning wheel icon... I have tried all sorts of combinations of settings, turning on and off dual core and all sorts of things. Nothing works. Right now Im using version 3.5-269, which I believe is the latest one. Any suggestions or am I never going to be able to finish this game?

Hello, sorry for bothering you,if you don't mind could you answer a few questions for me about Fire Emblem PoR on Dolphin?
I have a problem while emulating the game with those purple lines on the faces of the characters, tried using 3.5,3.0,some of the latest RVN,went back and got Dolphin 2.0 but the problem is still there,i remember before game worked, only problem back then was the crash after 13 or 22 ch. of the game. Now I always thought that it's because of Dolphin that this happens but after I tried 2.0 and there was still the same thing I suspect that it could be my PC,missing something or whatever. Tired it even with option of putting AF to 1 but still the same,I used all of the graphic settings,D9-11 OpenGL but still the same.
Now I don't know if there is solution but I see that you made a thread where it says that game works almost perfectly, just some music bugs, but no bug with the lines. Could it be because of my PC?
Here are my specs :

Intel i52500k
P8P69 motherboard
ATI Radeon 6970 HD Sapphire edition
8 GB RAM
I'm using Win 7 x64

About the settings in dolphin I really tried almost all of the configs but nothing, thank you and sorry for bothering you.

P.S Tried now to disable texture filtering and the lines are gone, even put AF to 16 . So it seems that for me the problem was texture filtering.

Just found out that the sound works perfectly with Dolphin 3.5-375 using HLE Smile . Haven't tested it for very long though

something similar happend to me, but with a different chapter. dolphin always crashed right before I could save after a battle. so I just used a different revision. loaded from an ingame save (not savestate) and it worked again

The game still has a major problem with white untransparent fog. The only workarounds are to Disable Fog (obviously removing even "useful" fog) or use v3.0-645 and prior. v3.0-651 introduced the issue.
