Hello, so I've been trying to set this up for me and my brother to play multiplayer but I ran into a snag...

This is as far as I have gotten. Everything seems to be in order but the game is not registering the controllers and I even made sure that even though Port 1 and 2 use GBA, that it's actual settings is for my 360 controllers. Anyone got any fix for this?

Use DSP Roms from a Wii/GC and then turn on LLE audio.

Is there no way to play multiplayer using two controllers? I currently use an Xbox 360 controller on single-player, and would love to play two-player using a second 360 controller.
Is that feasible?

I got multiplayer to work with one 360-controller and keyboard. Didn't try two controllers because I don't have a second one at the moment, but I don't see why it should not be possible if you configure both vba-m instances accordingly.
System specs:

Oh, I see.
Well I'll give it a shot, and post the results!
Thanks Smile

I played FFCC several times in multiplayer with the xbox360 controller.
One of the best games. Smile

The only issue is that the spells and special attacks are triggered too early (release of the button is too early).
But if the users switches to a different gba screen than the map screen, it's working more reliable.

I  have encountered a strange glitch. Whenever you finish certain dungeons (so far it happend with Goblin Wall and Selepation Cave), the game does not access the previous saves, and when you make a new save, dolphin creates a new .cgi file. After the Goblin Cave, the new cgi-file is called "m-GCCE-FFCC.gci". It seems to only happen when you collect a myrrh drop after the boss. Finishing the dungeon when it has no myrrh doesn't trigger the glitch.

Of course that means that when you restart the game, you cannot load that save. Even if you rename the new cgi-file. It only works after editing the file in a hex-editor, because the header also changes.

Tested with version 4.0-9237. It also happened a few weeks ago with the ishiiruka-version. Already tested MD5-hash.
Tried OpenGL, Dx11 and Dx12, and various game settings. If you need more infos, just ask.

Please help am trying to play single player using Dolphin to GBA. Am running Dolphin 4.0-9050 and the latest Visual Boy Advance-M from github. The game runs at full speed and perfect on both Dolphin and Visual Boy Advance window, but my only problem is my character is hitching when walking. I don't know the cause of this am using the same settings provided on the Dolphin wiki page for this game. I tried changing every setting within Visual Boy Advance but the hitching won't stop.

Also aside from the jittering/hitching from the characters in multiplayer, the characters will not focus their spells or attacks. Instead of focusing, its almost like turbo was on for the attack button but its not, when holding the attack button the character keeps rapidly attacking, and when all i'm doing is just holding the button not tapping it.  Here is a YouTube video i uploaded showing the issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEUnDb3eAMk
