Get random freezes with this game, some times I can play almost a complete cup, sometimes it hangs five seconds into the first race. Tried lots of different settings recommended on this forum, none helps. Anyone know how to fix this?

SVN 5060
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running through Bootcamp 3.1 on Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, GeForce 8600M GT

is there some setting that i need to adjust?

Use the "Experimental JITIL recompiler" option, moreno. It's a bit slow but at least it works.

A fix is ready, but no one is doing anything with it. Help support this fix anyway you can!

It's not a fix...it just disables some of the jit and uses the interpreter instead.

Sorry, just got told about that in the other thread. I guess I shouldn't have assumed a "fix" was for speed up.

Look forward to a real fix sometime! Thanks!!!

Hey!
It's awesome how good Dolphin runs actually, SSBM runs nearly perfect for me and lots of Game are playable.

The random Crashes in a GP are "okay" with save and load a lot of time (with no sound sometimes) but is there ANY Tweak for Sand Ocean?!

My FPS droping down to 3-5 FPS, some Slowdowns okay but this isnt playable. Sad

My System is strong enough (Q6600@3Ghz, 8800GTS 512MB, 4GB Ram atm) and my FPS are arround 40-60 normaly (ignoring the Slowdowns on some Tracks).

Turn off EFB to RAM.

Running it in JITIL might lessen the frequency of crashes in GP mode.

I have "Disable Copy to EFB" and "Enable EFB To Texture" - wich one did u mean?

And do you mean with JITIL the "Unlimited Jit Cache" Function?

Edit: Ah sorry, always running in JITIL because its crashing permanently and isnt playable without.
Edit: Enabled both Options (so disabled copy to EFB Tongue) but same Problem AND no Cars anymore.

Thanks anyway. =/

Edit:
Tested in Practice with 29 CPUs.

Rubin Cub:
Mute City - Good
Casino Palace - Good
Sand Ocean - Horrible (FPS arround ~3-5, dont know later i dont have fun to test a later Part of the Track)
Lightning - Good but after a while it Crashes - to bad its a cool one Sad (GFX FIFO: Unkown Opcode (0x3f) + some other Codes in a second Warning)
Aeropolis - Good with minor Slowdowns at the Start (think the Playerfield in Front of me)

Saphir Cub:
Big Blue - Runs "okay", many Slowdowns inside of the Tunnels on some Places
Port Town - Good with some minor Slow Downs
Green Plant - Many Slowdowns but its "okay" ...
Port Town (Pipe) - Ahhh a Pipe without Slowdowns ... Big Grin
Mute City - Good but then Dolphin Freezes with Soundloop (no Error)

Smaragd Cub:
Fire Field - Good
Green Plant - Horrible! Maybe some Areas (realy short) with better FPS but the whole Track is a Slowdownparty
Casino Palace - Good
Lightning - Good at the Start but after that much Slowdowns
Big Blue - Same as Lightning here =/

Obtaining great results Cool

System: i5 750 / ATI 5850 / 4gb DDR3 1600 / Win 7 64bit
Version: 2.0 RC1 (64bit)

After a lot of testing it appears the huge drop in framerate on Sand Ocean is caused by the Audio Throttle on the DSP-HLE.
I have turned it off and set my frame limit at 60. All courses now running fantastically at 48-60 fps in glorious 1920x1080.

Before turning off the audio throttle my frame rate was practically locked at 48 fps on all courses except Sand Ocean (20-25)

Just three issues remain really:
Big Blue crashes at 4x AA, yet works fine in 2.25x
Minor Widescreen issues on menus
Story Mode unfortunately remains unplayable

Keep up the great work.
