I tried it and when there's the black screen there's music though...and you can press start to get further...I even got into a race in the casino track...however, the sound bugged out there, so I quit.

Game runs at around a consistent 55-60 fps for me. However it seems to have random lockup during races. Anyone else have this issue?

sometimes i get a lockup, sometimes it gives a massive list of errors and then crashes (like the pic posted)

btw, how far can you go into the story mode? i was able to get up to the part where you customize the max speed/accelerate settings for the blue falcon

I even got into a race...you just have to press start or A a few times. There, the sound was extremely annoying, though, so I just stopped it.

For F-Zero, it seems like x64 JITIL is the most stable version so far.

Well offcourse Skid. You went pro mode on that x64 optimization commit 4839. We still waiting to see if ector can replicate the glory on win32 systems.
