I wish I did to test it out. But here's where it gets interesting..... Did you guys know that this version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHkpu7JebdI Supports up to 8(I think) player multiplayer over a LAN? This is the only version of the game that supports multiplayer. More impressions from a guy who tried it out in *THIS THREAD* Therefore, assuming if one of us can get our hands on this version of the ummm, "game", I would like to see if Dolphin can not only emulate it, but if it can emulate its LAN function as well. Hey Skid what are your thoughts on this? 10-12-2010, 08:30 AM
I was not aware of this version. That sounds great. I wonder how the multi-player link up is done. If it uses the same hardware as the BBA, I could try emulating the BBA. At the moment, where only one major game (MK: DD) uses the BBA, the effort needed would not be worth it.

Anyone else have this issue, When im playing the game in Grand Prix mode it runs at full speed but the onscreen FPS counter says it's only running at around 30 to 40fps. I ran it side by side with the game on my Wii and it is definitely running at full speed however in one level in story mode when you race Deathborn it seems to be running at double the normal speed.

The game might use 30fps in some places in the game (normal).
Do you have progressive scan enabled in the options? Do you have a save game/save state at the stage where the game is running double speed? 10-28-2010, 04:37 PM
Save states don't seem to work for me in this game, the 2 i tried both crash when i tried to load them. I Played through a Grand Prix with Progressive scan enabled but it didn't seem to make a difference also i thought F-Zero GX ran at 60FPS.

Hmm well apparently F-Zero GX is one of those games with sync issues in Dolphin.

Re
I have tried any version of DOLPHIN from build 6110 x64 to actually 6352 x64. The build 6352 seems to be work better but it crash again randomly. I use : Windows 7 Pro x64 2Go Intel 8600 Core2 @4000Mhz 9800GTX Nvidia 258.96 With default recommanded parameters of dolphin : untick Enable CPU -> EFB Access untick EFB scaled copy tick disable fog And when i tick Enable EB copy to RAM it seem to be more stable. I continue to test each new build of dolphin and i feed back later. I was finished the 3 first cup in expert mode and if i success ti finish all cup in master mode i will post my save. thx for your working |
