TCRF has all 8 versions of the Gecko and AR codes, but it unfortunately doesn't say what the differences are between each revision. It's good to know that it works, though.

I don't even need to switch to D3D to make Dolphin hang or crash, but I've been fiddling with the AX code since my disc arrived on Monday (which is bound to be less stable than playing the regular game). If I try to change settings after a race, Dolphin.exe crashes outright. If I hit Esc and then say "Yes" to the prompt asking if I want to stop emulation, Dolphin hangs with the infinite-size shadercache bug, and I have to kill Dolphin.exe from the Task Manager to make it stop writing the huge file. I then have to delete the shadercache file to make F-Zero boot the next time I try to load it.

F-Zero AX doesn't expect you to be able to pause; I'm almost sure it would crash if you attempted to pause and escape on console.

I'm talking about the menu that comes up after the race, but you're probably right that some of the options are nonfunctional.

I never tried that, but I know pausing and escaping crashes things horribly.

On console? I'm not talking about AX. I have f-zero for Wii and never crashed when exiting.

Really? That's... strange. Maybe there is something more to this than I originally thought. I'll update to the latest codes and see what's going on.
