Like I'm saying, Dolphin is doing something wrong if the game is functioning normally without the MMU Speedhack.

Well I guess as of 4.0-3631 its not an issue anymore since its been removed.
Are the other settings OK however? Synchronize GPU Thread was slow/unstable FPS but turning it off led to crashes. Disabling Dual Core seemed to solve those crashes. And MMU is simply off because it seems to run fine without it. And I use Direct3D simply because I get better framerates with it. I have 99% perfect running game, only Green Plant level still has some unstable frame rate issues. Because maybe its time to update the Emulation State text, which states Synchronize GPU thread should be enabled for stability. It limits the FPS so much its like playing in slowmotion, and jumps between 15-60fps. 10-15-2014, 08:08 AM

Well I tried as you said and it playable, in some circuits like Big blue or the fire storm(I think it's the name) the game runs at 40~60 but normally it runs faster. Any advice of more configuration? Thanks! 10-15-2014, 08:50 AM

Maybe someone could tell us about what version/settings was used to make this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEbmrwnYaXs#t=75 edit: Enabling dual core will fix the performance issues, but yesterday I tried it and got nothing but crashes. Today it seems stable idk.. 10-15-2014, 08:53 AM
Default settings. That was just Dualcore + MMU Speedhack at 3x IR + EFB2Texture.
MMU Speedhack option was removed; it's always on (for every game) because there is no performance impact. So, yeah. 10-15-2014, 10:27 AM
F-Zero GX is a classic game, and arguably the greatest arcade racer of all time.
Glad to hear it's running a lot better these days. 10-15-2014, 12:23 PM

I'm playing it for the first time, as despite being a huge N64 fan the Gamecube kinda passed me by. Running at 3xIR 16xAF 4xFSAA at a constant 60fps here on all except the sand course in the Ruby Cup, just an incredible game... one that I will be working my way through for a long time to come! 10-15-2014, 02:46 PM
If you want fullspeed on the sand tracks, checkmark "Skip EFB Access to CPU"
