Heya, Starscream, you should update your first post. Since r5986, Eternal Darkness boots without any workaround-annoyances Smile
However, does anyone else have no sound in the intro movie?

EDIT: Hmpf, strange, it's only with DX11 plugin that I have no sound there...
But with DX9 I need a projection hack to not see a black screen only.

I've just tried the game on 6018.
Speed - 100%
Gfx - no glitches w/o OpenCL and only one found with OCL(first floor - kitchen, messed up lightning on the furniture)
Sound - nothing abnormal observed.
Played using dx9( haven't spotted any diff between dx9 and dx11) + zelda hack
9x AA
3x scaling
16AF
The game is very low on resources.

F S M I believe.

few more infos on the settings(64bit win build 6036):
JITIL does not seem to work fully yet.
Both DX9 and DX11 work, while DX11 had a minor graphic bugs in cutscenes. dx9 has a buggy ingame menu. OGL runs reaaaaally slow -> unplayable
dx9/11 ignores ingame widescreen setting 16:9, so you have to force it
EFB copy to ram or texture makes no difference. I'm using RAM as its more accurate, but - as said - no difference spotted yet
Im using safest texture cache, just to make sure. No hit on performance, so it seems. fyi, safe texture cache doesnt seem to be required though!
I set watermark thingy to 40 instead of 50 as 50 doesnt always seem to work.
twilight bloom hack enables you to get past the poem. straaaange
Sometimes a cutscene has no audio, but this is random. sometimes it works, sometimes it just doesnt...
I have dual core, idle skipping and hle the ipl activated.
opencl currently has major lightning bug for all textures! ingame start menu(items and such) are even buggier than its already is. playable, but ugly. disable it!

with audio problems you mean no sound in the FMV intro? Yeah, when I use DX11, strangely...or it's random, dunno.
And I have no Realtek sound and using the NTSC version. Also not using audio throttle.

Yesterday I managed to get past the Poe poem with the Zelda Hack turned on. After retrying it didn't work anymore. The poem keeps repeating regardless of the Zelda hacks turned on or not. Furthermore I got a few texture problems during the intro (grey shades lying over protagonists).
Currently I'm using svn6036. What should I do? Oh and sound was copletely gone during intro ... but this is random and still happening, right?

In the first screen (poem alan poe) you must not press button "B" for select progrssive mode, you need to wait 3 second (touch nothing) and press button "A" in this way will be booting OK.
