Is there anything I can do about that black screen glitch on a Mac? I'd really like to get this game up and running, but right now it's impossible because I can't use Direct3D. Is there anything else I can do or should try? Thanks.

ETAL Not sure why my system stats aren't showing up, sorry I'm a new poster!

Running OSX 10.9.5
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
8gb Ram
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024MB

Thanks. Any suggestion for what version would work best? I have a copy of 4.0 and it's working better so far (no black screen) but is there anything that would work better? Thanks.

I guess try 4.0-3501 (if it exists) until it gets fixed in the latest versions

You have to actually read the notes, not just collect them. You're also missing the Book of Reliquaries which explains why the Hand of Jude is fake.

I read them. Just... crap. 3 weeks passed by from my 2nd time on the game and on this 3rd playthrough, I was stupid enough to forgot about that LITTLE detail. Kinda ignored it, I played the whole level quickly and the B button timing kind of sucks. I thought it wasn't needed, just... damn.
Anyway, how is Devo going with development? I'm interested on the connectivity to a GBA emulator via TCP/IP feature.

1) Blank screen occurs shortly after showing Edgar Allen Poe quote. videos after the quote appear fine.*
2) Main menu is blank/black.*
3) Game refuses to boot if Dual Core optimization is disabled.
4) The start of the Edgar Allen Poe dialog is garbled (HLE) but it quickly corrects it self and becomes fine. Audio during the videos after it, is fine.

Yeah, Sonic Unleashed Hack game. You should find the projection hack that's been going around for this.

I have seen mention of that fix. It's annoying that there appears to be no UI setting to toggle it and that it requires manually modifying a configuration file, especially because it involves modifying a game specific configuration file that should already have the setting applied because the setting is more or less required for the game to run well.
