GC controller setup and skipping audio help please

Im real new on this rom thing , please excuse such .
I need to ask what i need to do and purchase , besides a GC controller to use a GC controller on my win 7 and win 8 pc/laptop ? And how to set such up .
Can i also ask how to get rid of the constant stuttering audio on most games ( Ie Resident evil )

It would help to know:
1) what games you want to play
2) what CPU do you have (exact model)

You don't really need a real GameCube controller unless you want the feel of it. Games work just fine with any standard PC controller or just even the keyboard.

If you want to play wii, best to get a real wii mote and bar. Bars can be powered from usb, the wii its self or batteries, depending on what one you buy. I like the battery powered ones myself. Also get a dongle. See top of this forum for know working models people use. For GC, yes get a usb adapter for the GC controller, better then any PC controller IMO.
