GC controller inaccurate

So I just got the Official Wii U usb adapter and got it set up with Dolphin 4.0 and a Official Gamecube Controller and everything working fine, but the main stick doesnt respond well when moving it fast( dashing in smash melee).Theres a weird input lag when doing it. Something might of been configured wrong. Please help.

You're using 4.0? You should update to the newest development build or the 5.0 release candidate, then install the drivers as described here so that you can use Direct Connect in Dolphin: https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/how-use-official-gc-controller-adapter-wii-u/
