When I go into the Controller settings in Dolphin, I select Standard Controller, but when I go to configure the controller, Dolphin isn't recognizing it... my only choice is "keyboard".  I'm using an official Nintendo GC Controller.

I am also using the YCCTEAM GameCube Controller Adapter for the Wii U/Switch/PC.  I followed the instructions on the Dolphin wiki page and I installed the driver via Zadig (only the device showed up as "GameCube Controller Adapter", not "WUP-028"; and the USB ID showed up as "0079 1846", not "057E 0337").  If I toggle the switch to Wii U, then it does recognize the adapter as "WUP-028" with the correct USB ID.  Problem is I want to use it with my PC, not with the Wii U.

I noticed a similar thread to this, but there were no answers, so I'm asking again in hopes someone knows what is wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Computer Specs:
Windows 11
Dolphin version 5.0

If you are wanting to set it up as a Standard Controller you will need to set the adaptor to PC Mode. However, the recommended solution would be to put in into WiiU/Switch mode and configure dolphin to use Gamecube Adaptor for WiiU. Also make sure to use an up-to-date Beta version of Dolphin and not the old 5.0 Stable version.

Thanks for responding!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to try to help.

So, when I tried setting it up as a Standard Controller, I did have the adaptor set to PC Mode, so I'm still not sure why that didn't work. I am interested in the other solution... I will try that and get back to you if it works or not.

- I downloaded the most recent version of Dolphin.
- I switched the adapter to Wii U mode, and then I used zadig to install the driver for the only option which was "GameCube For Switch"... The Driver and USB ID are the correct ones mentioned in the tutorials for setting up the driver. The driver that is installed is WinUSB (v6. 7600.16385)
- I launched Dolphin, opened the Controller Settings Tab, selected Port 1 - "GameCube Adapter for Wii U"

It is working!!! Thank you so much again for the guidance, and hopefully this tutorial will help others in a similar situation.
