Since i found no help whatsoever on this I wanted to compile here what I did find on Baten Kaitos on Dolphin.
As this wiki says, Baten Kaitos is running at fullspeed with no crashes since r7624 approximatively. But there are several cases of background corruption and/or disappereance on the menu, in shop and on the save file picture. And as discussed in this thread, magnus pictures are completely messed up in the menu (which is quite a pain for someone who wants to actually complete the game and not just test it).
The game is still fully playable and enjoyable.
But something was introduced around Dolphin 3.0. The messed up magnus were corrected and the corruption in background was gone. It could be perfect if there wasn't a very nasty bug introduced : whenever you try to sell your photo magnus in the shop or loot them in post-battle screen, the game hangs and/or crashes 9 times out of 10. These crashes can happen on buy/sell screen and post-battle screen randomly too but that can be solved by save states and reload.
As stated on this thread, i tried several versions of Dolphin since 3.0 and with several options but nothing worked. This problem was also noted here (with poor infos).
I don't expect this problem to be solved soon as I know too well how painful it is to track something like this. But I hope this message would inform those who want to play this wonderful game and the wiki should at least be edited to note that the game is clearly not playable after Dolphin 3.0.
