I'm new to Dolphin and I've started to have an issue with my game which I'm worried would carry over if I were to save. It seems that my controls lock up sometimes like if I were playing a regular gamecube, where you're stuck pressing up when you really aren't, etc, but I don't have a controller to plug out and in. Is there any way to fix the lock up without resetting and having Resetti yell at me? Also if I save while this happens, will my controls be permanently locked to that position?

I'm setting my External Frame Buffer to Real, but NES graphics are still incomprehensible. Otherwise, the game runs great.

Try EFB2RAM + Safe Texture Cache as well.

It doesn't seem to be working.

I've experienced that before too, actually. I find that just waiting it out for a few minutes fixes it.

You're using the wrong build. Use a development build.

I cannot progress in the game past where you name yourself.  I've tried several different rom downloads, and I cannot figure out other emulators...This is the only emulator that I can even get to run the game.

When I have to choose a name I cannot type anything in.  It just adds blank spaces for everything I press A on. (I have the "a" button bound to H)  Whenever I press start the cursor just moves back to the beginning....I can't move past this and I cannot find anyone else having this issue.
In the first screenshot you'll see (or you wont see) my name is entered in as Steve.

So how do I decompile this game's textures and models? Don't get me wrong, I've already decoded the icons with rarcdump and yaz0dec, but I have no clue how to decode the foresta.map or foresta.rel.szs files. Is there any way to unlock those files? (audiorom.img too, i guess. whatever would have the models and textures)

Animal Crossing uses both memory cards to handle two towns. When I talk to the guy at the train to travel to the second town, I'm prompted to format the memory card, do so, and when I'm told I'm ready to travel, the screen fades to black but the emulation reboots instead of taking me to the town. Attempts afterward don't prompt me to format the card and I get notices at the top of the screen that data is being saved to both slots before travelling.

Dolphin has MemoryCardA.USA.raw and MemoryCardB.USA.raw loaded. I just now got rid of the period before USA because Dolphin's menus thought USA was the file extension, but that had no impact (I pointed dolphin to the new files after renaming).

Anyone know of a potential solution to this?

Currently running Dolphin 4.0-8319, but we had the same issue last year on Win 8.1 and likely an earlier version of Dolphin.

Hey, has anyone here played Dōbutsu no Mori e+? Aka: Animal Crossing E+. I've been playing it a ton on Dolphin as it has a lot of cool features the usual version doesn't have.

I was wondering: Do any of you guys have any Raw files you wanna submit from this game? I'd love to visit your town using the memory cards. I've tried this out and it works fine, I just need other raw files.
