Welcome and sorry for my english. My basic problem: When I load and start a new version of Dolphin, I start a game and push "F1" touch for my fast save to continue the game where I stopped with the ancient version, but it doesn't work, and said "unable to load: Can't load state from other versions! The savestate was created using Dolphin ...... It gives me the number version, and that' all. So I have to restart the game from the beginning. However, I guess that I followed the notice of the Dolphin Site, in "Guides" section and "Controlling the global Directory", with the thing "username/documents... I suppose I do the good thing, but it doesn' work. I guess I do something wrong, but don't know what . And it's boring. Is there anybody who can help me. Thanks a lot to you, my saver. Lorenzo

You can't load savestates from old versions. If you want to bring your progress to a new Dolphin version, load the savestate in the old version, then make a regular save. You will be able to load the regular save in the new version.

You can load the Savestate with the version that it mentions ("The savestate was created using Dolphin <version>"), play till you can save and then switch to a newer version and load the savegame (not savestate) normally and continue playing.
