Gc adapter problem

So I just bought a Y team game cube controller off amazon and I set it up, but when I go to dolphin it says adapter detected but when I open a game it starts blinking adapter detected and adapter not detected. I made this account just for this please help.

Bump, I've also had this exact same problem but with a Dobe gamecube adapter. It's detected outside of games, but when I launch games, it starts blinking back and forth between detected and not detected like your case. I think there's something seriously wrong here.
