I have been using the 3in1 Magic Joy Box adapter to play gamecube games on Dolphin for quite some time now. After I lost my controller, I bought another one online. It arrived and I tried to use it with the adapter and the analog sticks started twitching and going crazy, to the point where it was impossible to play even with maximum deadzones as both sticks were constantly twitching in a single direction a few times a second. Naturally, I assumed it was the controller's fault and returned it. However, I just got a replacement in the mail and had the exact same problem. I decided to try this one out on a Wii before returning it again, and found that it worked perfectly; meaning the problem lies with the adapter itself. I tried reinstalling dolphin to no avail and have not been able to make any steps towards fixing it. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it the fact that I am using a third-party controller?

GC Adapter Issues

That is a sign that the adapters timing is off when reading the GC controllers signal. There are not many adapters that support all 3rd parties. 2 options... 1) get an oem controller, 2) use an adapter that is willing to help you support your controller ( see my sig for one of them ).
