GC Adapter Detected. Controller not showing up.

So I've been following the tutorial for configuring the GC USB adapter on the dolphin website. The driver is installed, the adapter is detected in the controller settings, I've checked direct connect and restarted, and my controller is definitely plugged into the first slot. Unfortunately, when I try to configure the standard controller, Dolphin only seems to recognize the keyboard. I've tried multiple drivers and different GC controllers and different versions of dolphin (currently using 4.0-8548) but I can't figure it out. Please help.

You don't configure it, it should just work.

Right but it doesn't work at all. When I go to choose what standard controller to use, my only option is the keyboard/mouse. It doesn't use the controller, and it doesn't show up on the devices list.

It shouldn't show up on the device list anyway. Try uninstalling any other drivers you used and follow this guide only:

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and it worked. I'm a dumbass haha. Thank you so much.
