Does anyone know if this game uses AX-HLE, and if it's blackscreen problem was fixed by it?

It should be an AX ucode game (would be surprised if it weren't). I think LordVador has access to this game (or perhaps I'm just mistaken) so perhaps he could take a look to see if the new-ax-hle merge fixed the blackscreens.

I'll test with HLE. Btw the game works just fine with LLE

This is kind of duh but, make sure you test a build at or soon after 3.5-78, the merger of AX-HLE. If things are fixed, that's the best way to make sure it was fixed by AX-HLE and not something else. There has been a LOT of changes since.

So I tried with new AX-HLE:

- black screens are fixed.
- sound is almost perfect (but not 100%).

Btw Force Texture Filtering is no more needed

What kind of sound problems? Audio skipping, garbles, music stopping?

Mainly sound skips: either no sound at all, either music and no sound effects. But these are very brief sound skips. Music doesn't cut except during these sound skips
