sticking to playing this on pcsx2 as it doesn't suffer from the loading bug. at least all the other bond games are working on dolphin. (well except QoS) but i have that on pc.
[GC] 007: Agent Under Fire

Hello all,
I just registered here to bring to your attention an issue with 007 Agent Under Fire NTSC version. Whenever i start the game, the speed of the game is fine, it plays fine. However, no matter what Backend, (OpenGL or Direct3D 11), Internal Resolution or what kind of Texture Filtering i select, the Graphics remain Pixelated (like they are still being rendered at a low Resolution). Since i don't know how to attach images, this video comparison will have to do: First the Video of how my game look like (except i have V-Sync turned on): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tv5kn2sESU then how the Graphics are supposed to look like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zM1fgvkajA Obviously i did not make these videos. I use Dolphin 5.0 x64 Bit, Windows 7 Ultimate X64 Bit OS Version 6.1.7601.23569 To make matters worse, i just completed 007 Nightfire on the same version of Dolphin and it ran smooth and the Graphics where smooth and not Pixelated. This only happens with 007 Agent Under Fire, this has never happened before with any other Game i have tried over the years in Dolphin.
Dolphin enables real XFB for this game by default because the videos don't work otherwise, and real XFB forces the graphics output to be in the original GameCube/Wii resolution.

Thank you for your reply,
I understand. Is there any way to switch real XFB off in Dolphin 5.0, or do i need to use and older Build? I don't care about the videos as long as the game works as it should during gameplay. I can always watch them on YT if need be. Out of curiosity i tried using dolphin-master-3.5-1389-x64, and there XFB is turned off by default. 12-02-2016, 08:44 AM
Either make a game INI where you explicitly disable RealXFB, or open the graphics configuration while the game is running. Both of those will let you override Dolphin's default settings.

Thank you so much, that worked! And thanks to everyone who continues to improve this great emulator.

Has anyone been able to do netplay with this game? I know that you need to have dual core mode disabled in order for it work. But when I tried it with a friend, the speed dropped to 10 fps, despite the fact that the game ran fine on both of our PCs when we played by ourselves with dual core disabled.

Edit Reason: stupid formatting

I'm having a problem using the mouse as the C-Stick. Below is a clip of the problem:
As you can see, I'm moving the mouse wildly, yet the C-Stick is barely firing at all. Here are my GameCube controller configuration settings: As you can see, my deadzone and radius settings are completely normal. The range for each direction is set to 100%, as normal. My mouse works perfectly fine as a C-Stick in every other GameCube game I've tried it in, and AUF is the only one that's giving me trouble. Here's the little diagram thingy moving while the game is either not loaded, or paused from Dolphin: (My post formatted itself so that the gif is at the bottom. Sorry) And here it is when the game is running: (Very bottom gif) See how it's so much more constricted? I've tried everything I could think of, from changing the range, to the deadzone, to just about every video setting, to the graphics backend. Nothing helps. I have tried several different developer versions of Dolphin 5.0 (the one shown in the video and GIFs is 5.0-7334) and the original stable 5.0. Any help will be much appreciated. 05-20-2017, 11:25 AM
You might be wanting the "Cursor" feature instead of the "Axis" feature.
Right click on each of the C Stick buttons, click Clear, then scroll the list down to the bottom and replace "Axis Y-" with "Cursor Y-" by selecting "Cursor Y-" and clicking "Select", then click "OK". Repeat this for each of the C Stick directions. The test will be a bit weird in the controller configuration but the game will control differently with this set-up. 05-23-2017, 07:37 AM

But now Bond really wants to look left, and putting the cursor to the right just stops him: Configuration while game is running, then configuration while game is paused through Dolphin: Why is it glitchy when the game is running? |
