Hey! So I've got a higher end gaming laptop.
i7-6700HQ and Nvidia GTX 970M with 16GB of DDR4 RAM
For some odd reason, no matter what settings I use on the emulator, I will get noticeable lag on my games.
I could have native resolution, on a tiny window, and super mario sunshine will drop down to 10fps as soon as I hit delfino plaza.
I will not post settings here, because I am more than likely to keep trying to change them after this post, if anybody has any good configurations with their settings, it would be a big help. Since I primarily bought this expensive thing to play dolphin.

Did you disable the Battery Boost "enhancement" in the Nvidia Geforce Experience?

Also, are you right clicking on the exe and selecting to run with the nvidia GPU? Nvidia optimus is a piece of shit and the default is to always use the integrated graphics. You need to go to the nvidia control panel and set the preferred GPU to the discrete nvidia one.
