GameStop GC controller assistance

Hello! I am trying to get setup with Dolphin but I am having controller issues. I have the official GameCube controller Hub for the Nintendo Switch and the driver from Zadig updated to my computer, but when I plug my controller in there is no response at all.

I have the settings in Dolphin for controller to be set as "GameCube adapter for Wii U" and my controller is a GameStop version of the GC controller. Not sure what specifically the version is but it's white with a Turbo feature.

Is there a setting that I'm missing or am I SOL and need to get a different controller?

Brief update, this is the Nyko brand that I bought at retail. I did test it with my Switch and the controller works there.

What version of dolphin are you using? 3rd party adapters used to have problems on older versions of dophin.

I'm using the latest version 5.0 of Dolphin.

Can you give an exact version? That can mean multiple things.

Not sure what you mean. I load up Dolphin, select Help then choose About and this is all I get. Though after some more digging, there are some sources I found on Reddit that state the Nyko adapter won't work for PC. So far with my testing, that seems to be correct. And if I have to get a new adapter, that's not a big deal, it's only about $15.

You should try the latest beta version, I think they fixed 3rd party adapters.

Yes, the Nyko adapter works in the latest beta or development version of Dolphin.

Getting a Beta version works for the controller! I grabbed version 5.0-13178 and it works great! Thank you very much!
