Thumbs Up
hi everyone I'm new to dolphin emulation and i have a strange problem
I'm trying to run this emulator on my good pc but seems to only want to run in my slower machine ,

Dolphin emulator runs great on my pc with the following specs:

p4 2.8ghz intel / 1.50 gb ddr2 / gforce 8500gt / direct x 9.0

and in my other machine when i press the start button or double click on the rom name nothing happens , it has the following specs:

2.6ghz amd dual core / 2gig ddr2 // gforce 8500gt / direct x 9.0

they both have same video card , both have beta nvidea drivers and both have direct x9 , also i have enabled dual core in options. Also im trying to run the same exact roms.

any help will be appreciated , thanks

Double click on the game where it says "no banner" or anywhere along the game name. If that does not work, you may be missing some of the emulators files.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

The beta drivers are what stick out as suspicious for me. Graphical data streams VIA the processing unit in your graphics card to your memory, where it is stored and then visualized as needed. Like , an FPS analogy.
You are in a base with many MP5s. It will load the MP 5 file, texture, info, etc - but mainly the model - and store it in your RAM for later use so it can quickly shuffle it back so you can see it without lag, hitching etc.

Simple example, but that might also be it. Some memory sticks can be faulty or ..not...you know not sexy.
It is important to have matching speeds for all your ram sticks to ensure no critical errors spring up during gaming.
But yeah it used to do that to me with some games, upgrading to a newer rev SORT OF fixes it.

Except Starfox Adventures. I get the nintendo logo then boom. Nothing.
