Games won't make save file

I’m bumping this thread because I’m having the same issue with my copy of GC games.
The Dolphin emulator 5.0-8155 will create a save file. And then when it saves the second time it says it saved to MC slot 1 but it won’t let me play.
When I go to hit continue game it’s greyed out even though there is a save file to overwrite when I try to do a new game.

Try not to bump old threads. For visibility on your issue, it's better to make new threads.

After you make a save, stop the game in Dolphin (or close and re-open Dolphin) and go to Tools -> Memory Card Manager. Do any save files appear in that screen?
