Bit of a question to throw out to the crowd - do any of you know of a scene in a GameCube or Wii game with pretty fireworks? I've been looking for a good example but all that I can find are pretty uninspired.

My brain's having trouble with this one but I think these games had fireworks of sorts:

- Sonic Colors (theme park so probably fireworks somewhere)
- Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2
- Some specific Mario Party Minigames
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii might have some after completing a level with a certain score or time. At least the NES one did.
- Pokemon Battle Revolution had a ton of dark skies. might be fireworks somewhere

Sorry I don't have more concrete answers. For some reason it's really hard for me to remember which games the fireworks are from. Huh

Animal Crossing (GC) has fireworks during the 4th of July and New Years. City Folk has fireworks on Saturdays in August.

Well... It depends on what you need it for.

There is for example fireworks in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (there is the Virtual Console version or The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition for the GameCube). If you stand in South Clock Town on the 3rd night at 12 PM a scene will play that will open the Clock Tower, which is accompanied with fireworks, since carnaval has started.

To trigger the fireworks in New Super Mario Bros. Wii you need to reach the flagpole of a stage with the last two digits of the timer being the same (except for 00). How many fireworks you get depends on your remaining time with the formula of: timer % (modulus) 10.

And the Last Story has some fireworks scene:

Maybe you can get something good out of that with the free camera

Thanks everyone! As soon as I read Sonic Colors I was like, of course! It has great fireworks! But it was a bit tough since those fireworks weren't in any of the right scenes, but, fifolog extracting and copy pasting later, and it turned out well! You'll see soon~ ...ish.
