I was attempting to test just how fast Dolphin would run on my Asus Zenfone 2, considering it has the CPU of a low end laptop. However, games will instantly crash upon tapping them in the menu.

Version: 4.0-4031 (Newest on Play Store)

Are there any known problems with the Zenfone 2?

You cannot use this phone for Dolphin sorry.

It doesn't sound like the devs will ever support it.

It's not that we don't support the phone, it's that the phone doesn't support an x86_64 userspace. Which since we've dropped support for 32bit x86, we can't support.
libhoudini to convert the play store version's ARMv7 code over to x86, which I wouldn't be surprised if it hits a bug in there since it isn't the most complete ARMv7 recompiler around.

Ah, I was under the impression that it was a full-fledged 64-bit device. That sucks, I was hoping it had some hope of running Dolphin almost playable for the lighter games. Since the hardware is full 64 bit (right?), does that mean it's Intel's x86 port of Android that's holding it back?
