Games running REALLY slow

Hey guys,

I wonder if you can help me find the issue here...

Despite running pretty much every game at >60 FPS (including recent ones) with max settings, my PC doesn't seem to be able to handle any GC games. For instance Wind Waker: the game is running <50% speed (about 10fps at max) except for tiny inside areas.

I tried playing around with pretty much every settings (in both, DirectX and OpenGL modes), but nothing seems to help...

You'll find my PC specs in the attachment. Any ideas what I can do about the awful performance?

Regards,
Michael

That would explain it.
FX processors suck for dolphin.
They've very poor single/dual threaded performance, which Dolphin runs on.
Even if you overclocked, performance would be subpar.
You need a Phenom 2 or an Intel processor.
I recommend an i5 2500k.
Or just go back to playing PC games.

GPU is fine for 4x native, a great GPU really.
Only 2GB RAM is needed for Dolphin as well.

PC games: Excellent GPU, Average CPU
Dolphin: Excellent CPU, Average GPU

My specs are much better for Dolphin.
Take a look at my specs in my profile.

While the FX 8120 is not a great processor for dolphin it's nowhere near THAT bad. A 2.2GHz core 2 duo can run WW much better than that. Something is wrong with his system.

@mybyte
Have you checked your cpu temperatures under load?
