My games seem to cut to half speed, sometimes. I have a brand new, beefy computer which is plenty for games such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2, yet they frequently cut to half frames. However, every once in a while, they run smooth as expected. I've looked through the forums and I've tried many of the fixes that have supposedly worked, but nothing seems to work consistently for me.

Make sure Vsync is disabled in Dolphin, and is not globally forced in your graphics drivers. Also, make sure Dolphin is set to run at 100% (Normal Speed) in Config > General.
With that done, does it still behave that way? ![]() AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX PBO+200 | Asrock WRX80 Creator | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 64GB DDR4-3600 Octo-Channel | Windows 11 22H2 | (details)

Also since this a laptop. Does this occur only on battery if so you probably need to go to the geforce experience program and disable battery boast as this by default lock the fps to 30. Decent amount of game will run at half speed due to this.
