I had this issue. Make sure the frame limit in the config is unchecked. The revision I have doesn't even have the box anymore.

MOBO - ASUS Maximus VII Hero
CPU - Intel i7 4790k 4.0GHZ Stock. haven't had a reason to OC...
GPU- Geforce 760 OCd 20%
RAM- 16 gigs 1866
MOBO- Sabertooth 990fx R2
