Games freeze when wiimote rumbles

Hi,
It's the first time I'm trying the wiimote with dolphin emulator and when it rumbles (at least in Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros), the game freezes a lot and then goes back to 100% speed.
Is there anyway I can disable the rumble feature or solve the problem?

You can't do that while using the wiimote...

It's impossible to switch off rumbling with gamepad settings. But it would work if you were using sixaxis/xbox360 controller etc.

To switch it off, press home button when you're in the game, then click on 'Wii remote settings', then press rumbling off.

Found out that reducing the resolution made it, although the game was smooth when not rumbling.
