I have a 2.7GHz AMD Athlon X2 5200 dual-core, but even after using this tweak, Mario Kart Wii still doesn't quite run at full speed.

But I noticed with Super Smash Bros GC that it will run at full speed even on low end PCs. Is this a result of it being a GC game, or are there just certain games that are more likely to run at full speed?

Does anyone have a list or know of games that will run at full speed with lower than top end processors? (such as mine). I've checked the perfect on Dolphin list, but Mario Kart Wii for example is listed as "perfect" on that list even though my computer still can't run it at full speed.

This would be the ideal thread to check on non-CPU intensive games-

Why games runs fast is a combination of things. Yes, i've noticed Gamecube games can indeed run faster in general (though some of the more graphically intensive ones can still stutter and lag). There's also the type of graphics they use. Smash Bros seems to use smaller environments than some other games with open worlds. And it can also depend on how much time was spent making the emulator play that particular game better. Extremely popular games like NSMB Wii and Smash Bros are likely to get more development attention.

Also, the list saying it's "perfect" does not mean it's fast. It just means that with a good enough PC, the game is extremely playable.
