Hi guys! It's my first post here! I'm a huge fan of dolphin! I've been using it for years!!

Recently I don't know what happened. When using the directx 11 backend on full screen, my games are locked at 24 fps. This happens regardless of region, internal resolution and other settings. I used to be able to run all my games at full speed. Now this happens with all builds.

I should note that my laptop has NVidia 670m and Intel 4000hd. The games don't seem to be locked with the Intel card but obviously it's a lot more sluggish than my nvidia card. If I switch the backend to OpenGL, the games run fine again with the nvidia card. Can someone enlighten me?

I tried the latest build, updating my drivers, disabling cortana, making sure nothing else is running in the background. I've also tested other emulators (pcsx2) and that one runs normally using their directx 11 backend. I made sure my card settings are optimized. My computer is currently connected to my tv via hdmi so I'll try disconnecting it from the tv and run dolphin again on the laptop screen.

About my computer:
i7 3.1 ghz, 12gb ram, Windows 10, NVidia gtx 670m.

Thanks in advance for your help guys! Usually I'm tech savvy enough to fix my problems but I'm pretty stumped now.

OpenGL is faster in NVidia GPUs, you should stick with it.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I think I will! I really thought it was the other way around (nvidia with dx11 and Radeon with OpenGL) lol.
