Gamepad / Wiimote configuration question

Hello,

Sorry if this has been asked already. I searched fairly extensively, but couldn't find the answer.

I'm running Dolphin 2.0. Other details about input, etc... I'm not savvy enough to know the answer, but would be happy to check if more information is needed.

I have a simple 10button controller with an analog pad on the left side. I'm trying to configure the Wiimote with it. I can set the buttons no problem, but I wanted to use the analog pad as the RIGHT LEFT UP and DOWN on the Wiimote, but I can't seem to get it to work.

When I click the mouse on the LEFT, I get the <.....> indicator that it's waiting for me input. I press the analog pad, but nothing. The buttons counts down [3], [2] and [1], then resets to the default.

Suggestions ? Basically I want to control the movement in much the way that the real Wii remote works... like a pad.

Thanks in advance. Pictures would be great, but any solution is welcome.

Jim

You can only do this(map an analog direction to a digital button) with the new wiimote plugin in the svn.
You can get recent svn builds from: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html

I believe that the function to map direction to an analog stick was added in a later version. Download a newer revision and have a go.
