I'm at loss for how to solve this problem.

I'm running Dolphin 3.0-692 (with a 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box and original Nintendo Gamecube controller) on:

Quote:OS X Lion 10.7.4
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon HD 6750M
4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz

Dolphin seems to detect the controller perfectly, but the shoulder buttons are not being mapped correctly. Dolphin sees every press of both shoulder buttons as 'Axis Unk+', which actually seems to be the opposite problem that a lot of people are having here.

While it's good that Dolphin registers half-presses (so it would seem), the buttons don't do anything at all in-game because they do not register as buttons.

I found a patch to supposedly fix this problem in the forums, but could not for the LIFE of me figure out how to compile my own version of Dolphin, which was incredibly frustrating.

Also, in attempts to avoid this problem all together, I tried using my PS3 controller with Joystick Mapper, which seems to work flawlessly with every program BUT Dolphin, since Dolphin detects the PS3 controller as well and automatically switches its settings from the keyboard settings I want to the PS3 settings. Is there a way to fix this?

I'll have to look on my Mac when I get home (it's the same exact computer as yours + 8GB RAM). I also have the 3-in-1 Magic Joybox and have used it with Dolphin successfully used it with Dolphin. Try manually mapping the buttons by right clicking and selecting ButtonXX, where XX is a number (I don't remember which one, so until I can get home in a while look around for what it is called or experiment for yourself). I'll post back here with the exact labels in a couple of hours. Whichever "ButtonXX"s u don't have mapped are probably the correct ones.

Also, the key mapping software I used to use interfered with Dolphin and actually wouldn't let me use it so I would be careful with that.
