Gamepad not responfing anymore

I'm using a Trust Predator gamepad with nJoy and at first it was working fine, but then Dolphin crashed on me and now no button works anymore.
I tried reconfiguring it several times, but no luck. Sometimes the buttons would default to 1001 for no reason. The controller is still being recognized by the program itself, just not by games.
Any idea what might be going on here?

Check if you have it "virtually" connected: Settings -> Gamecube tab -> Port 1 should be set as "Standard Controller"

Thank you that fixed it.
Now I'm wondering why it worked yesterday, I certainly hadn't changed that before...
