Hi,

I was wanting to use a PS4 controller with my mouse to play Super Mario Galaxy. I tried for a while on Dolphin 4.0 and 4.0.2. I set controls for either the gamepad fine, but when I set the controls for the mouse the gamepad wouldn't work (couldn't see the buttons light up in the settings, and wouldn't work in-game). The reverse was also true where I set the mouse then the gamepad controls, and the mouse wouldn't work at all. I tried changing the device up the top, and also by right clicking the button mapping and setting it there but no avail. One thing I noticed that when right-clicking the button mapping box and the configuration control window popped up, when I selected one of the input devices it just disappeared. I was able to detect a button when using the Detect button but it just wouldn't save.

I then tried Dolphin 3.5 and it works flawlessly. I hope this makes sense, it is kind of hard for me to articulate it. I could make a video if required.

Yes, one used to be able to map mouse/keyboard when some other device was selected.
This is no longer the case. Someone changed it.

Choose your gamepad for the device on the main wiimote dialog.
For inputs that are to be controlled by keyboard/mouse, right-click the buttons and set the device+input in the dialog that appears.
It does work.

I have tried that and it just wont work. I am able to right click to map the mouse buttons, and I select DInput/0/Keyboard mouse and press the detect button. It detects the buttons OK and finds it on the list, but then I try to press OK or apply it says "Bound controls: 0, device not found."

It really isn't a big deal since 3.5 works fine, would just be nice to be on 4.0.2, that's all.

1. Click Detect.
2. Press your mouse/keyboard button.
3. Click Select.
4. Click OK.

I did this and it is not working - attached a picture.

I cannot click OK or apply until I clear it. [Image: whaK4yH.png?1?9523]

That empty "device" box issue should be fixed in development builds.
That's the problem.

Hey just letting you know I got mine to work by typing in manually `XInput/0/Gamepad:Left Y+` instead of just 'Left Y+' etc... for each of the controls for the controller portion in the right click menu.

It works well.
