Tried to play with Samsung tab s6 Android 10 with nvidia shield controller (v. 1.04)...worked fine, Except when pushing down on the control stick, it maps as start (goes to pause/save menu)...have this problem only with the tablet, not f.ex the shield console with the same controller! Halp please 
the mapper menu does not show any contradictions. The problem does not happen in other emulators of google play games :/
EDIT: The issue was resolved by rebooting the controller with a button combination. There was an update a few weeks ago to the controller, so might be a residual of that
