I've been having a problem with getting my gamepad to work on Dolphin 4.0 for Mac. I have a standard Dualshock 2 controller connected to a twin port usb. The GCPad configuration window is able to detect the buttons when I input them to their corresponding buttons. However, the analog sticks don't move when I move them in the configuration menu (and I believe they're supposed to), and they aren't detected when I run any Gamecube game. I know your first instinct is to redirect me to older threads that claim to solve this problem, but I've seen virtually all of them and none of the solutions I've seen end up working for me. I even tried Joystick Mapper and configured the controller for keyboard inputs, used the keyboard for the GCPad configuration and it STILL didn't work for the emulation. The only thing I haven't checked is if a newer version of Dolphin for the Mac fixes this problem. Can someone please help me out?

I just tried the latest dev version. Nothing. However, I did notice the controller settings to be different from the GCPad. I just don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there is still an issue with Dolphin's gamepad detector.

There is an issue with the adapter I linked and Mac OSX (see this thread), and you may be having a similar issue

Okay. Thank you for all the help, but you said in the thread that the adapter worked fine under Windows. If I ran Dolphin with Wine, would the controller work? If you're not sure, I'll be sure to try it out!
