Gameini Settings Issue

I'm trying to set Brawl (Project M, actually) to use real XFB in its .ini file, but whenever I load it up, it gives me the message that "UseXFB is overridden by game ini," and for some reason it loads the game at only 1x IR. What am I doing wrong here?

You're not doing anything wrong, real xfb only works at 1x IR.
