Gamecube Wii U adapter, C-stick not working

So I downloaded dolphin over a year ago and never had this issue until I started using it again recently. Since of course, I am using the "Wii U Gamecube adapter" it appears that it is configured "automatically" and I am not given the option to adjust the settings as opposed to if I had the "Standard Controller" option. That creates a problem because whenever I have seen people on the internet having the issue of their C-stick not working, they always suggest adjusting the deadzone. As far as I am aware, I do not have the option to adjust the deadzone with this configuration, so I don't really know what I am supposed to do. To be clear, my C-stick seems to work very unreliably on either the right or left sides and does not work entirely if I fling it vertically up or down.

I have the latest version of Dolphin and I have read the "Wii U Gamecube Adapter" Dolphin page.

Did you follow this guide? There shouldn't be any need to do any configuring it, if it isn't working properly it's probably the controllers fault. If you really wanted to you might be able to look into setting it up as a normal PC controller.

I did follow the guide. Prior to following it this time around it wouldn't recognize my controller, and would say "driver not detected" but using it I fixed that, but the C-stick isn't registering properly with my Wii U Gamecube adapter even after following everything in the guide.

And no, it isn't the controller's fault. I've tried 2 controllers and both have had the same problem. It is Dolphin's fault.

It's not possible for it to be dolphins fault, it doesn't do anything other than pass the inputs to the game. It is either the adapter or the controllers.
