GameCube USB controller not showing in devices in Dolphin

Hello all,

After raking through YouTube videos, guides and forum posts. I seem to not be able to get my Nintendo Switch GameCube USB controller to pop up as a device in Dolphin and I cannot find any post that help me with my problem. I originally downloaded a older version of Dolphin and tried to get my controller to connect going through these steps:

-Downloading Dolphin
-Making sure that my computer did pick up controller (Image01)
-Configuring everything
-Setting Port 1 of GameCube Controllers to Standard Controller
-Looked under Devices in Dolphin to see If my device was picked up, saw it was not.

After looking through videos and posts I tried to edit the drivers:

-Repeated all previous steps but downloaded Zadig
-Updated Drivers to WinUSB
-Looked again under devices, no luck.

I then uninstalled the older version of Dolphin and installed Version 5.0-10979.
-Repeated all Original Steps (Including Updating Drivers)
-Looked at Devices, still wasn't popping up, even with "all devices" selected none of my inputs went it.

Since you are speaking about a Switch USB GameCube controller I am going to assume that you have a GameCube style controller with an USB connector attached to it: This is NOT the Switch/Wii Gamecube adapter which takes the ORIGINAL GameCube controllers with the original plugs: This is what the GameCube adapter setting in Dolphin supports. If it is the former (e.g. the GameCube controller with an USB plug) you will have to be able to configure it as a normal Emulated GameCube controller. To do this you must first make sure it works in other Native Windows/PC games... If it doesn't then the controller might just not be compatible with PC without using some sort of specialized driver and then there is nothing we/the developers can do about it and you should start complaining to the people that made the controller to write a driver for you (if not readily available). The Zadig driver is for enabling passthrough (e.g. let the "GameCube/Wii" handle the controller instead of Windows) and should not work... UNLESS the controller works on the original hardware (if it is a GameCube controller with a USB connector: it won't the GC doesn't support USB)
